Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using www.portugalhappens.com operated by A Loja das Viagens.
Your access and use of the services provided by Portugal Happens are conditioned by your acceptance and compliance with these Terms.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, then you may not access the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use our Service.
Making a booking
- The contract is made when “A Loja das Viagens” confirms the Booking Confirmation with details of the agreed program and when the deposit receipt is issued.
- The client must check carefully to assure that Booking Confirmation matches exactly with the details of the booking intended to be made by the client.
- Please notice also that a Booking Confirmation will be rejected and treated as canceled if payment is not made as per agreed payment schedule.
Pricing
- The price of the program is as detailed in the Booking Confirmation. “A Loja das Viagens” set aside the right to change the price of the program at any previous time to the issuing of the Booking Confirmation.
- The client accepts that pricing and availability may expire over time.
- Flights are not included in the price of the program unless otherwise declared.
All prices are referred to in dollars or euros, inclusive of any taxes or additional charges unless otherwise declared.
Holiday and|or personal insurance is not included in the price of the program unless otherwise declared. All medical and physical restrictions must be communicated to Portugal Happens before the booking of the experience. Failure to do so gives the right for Portugal Happens to decline any responsibility for accidents caused by the omission of this information.
Payment
- The price of the program on which it is calculated is contained in the Booking Confirmation.
- Failure to make payment on the expected dates will allow “A Loja das Viagens” to cancel the contract without penalty and to treat such failure as a cancellation by the client.
Alterations or Changes made by “A Loja das Viagens”
- The program is based on current schedules and service details and consequently may require minor changes. Whenever possible “A Loja das Viagens” will notify the client of any changes before the start of the program.
- Significant changes to the program may include some of the following:

- The price of the program can be changed
- A change of accommodation to that of a significantly lower standard for the whole or a major part of the program;
- The cancellation of a significant activity or service forming part of the program;
- Portugal Happens reserves the right of not accepting clients who present signs of being intoxicated, for safety reasons.
- Portugal Happens reserves the right to cancel the transfer ride if the client is more than 15min late and didn’t send prior notice of that.
Alterations or Changes made by The Client
- If the client wishes to make any change to the program or wishes to cancel the program, the client must notify “A Loja das Viagens”, by email, as soon as possible.
- The cancellation charges appointed below will apply if the program is canceled by the client, but cancellation will only be effective from the date that written notification of cancellation is received by “A Loja das Viagens”.
Our Cancellation Policy
Portugal Happens allows customers to cancel their purchase.
To safeguard our customers and our partners, our cancellation policy is standardized into three categories: Flexible, Moderate and Rigid.
Flexible: Full refund up to 1 week before activity
Moderate: 50% refund within 1 week to 72 hours of activity
Rigid: Non-refundable within 24 hours before activity
We strongly recommend that Clients provide authentic details and ensure to avoid cancellation where possible.
Complaints
- If there are any complaints about the program these must be communicated immediately to “A Loja das Viagens” who will work to alter the program where possible or compensate the client if justified.
- If the incident is still not resolved after the conclusion of the program, the organizer must inform their manager, so that an e-mail can be generated for completion. A detailed description of the complaint will need to be provided, followed by any supporting evidence. If, after this time, you still feel the matter has not been resolved adequately and you wish to intensify the complaint. [Presentation of available recovery methods]
Content
Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material (“Content”).
When posting content you consent Portugal Happens to use it freely for marketing purposes.

- Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by “A Loja das Viagens”.
- Portugal Happens has no control over and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Portugal Happens shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such websites or services.
Responsibilities
Portugal Happens is not responsible for any loss or damage of gear occurred in any part of the program. All personal belongings are full responsibility of its owners.
